Porsche 993, Boxster, Caymen & VW at Barber, AL
This captures John in his Boxster, Kevin in his Caymen and Palo in his VW. As well as some of the local Alabama Boys we are running with at the Barber Motorsports Park.
This is from the first day of the Advanced DE that was run with the PCA Club Race. We are all working on different lines, braking points and gear for the various corners. We are also working on visual memory recall to learn the track. Barber is a wonderful facility, and the Alabama folks good hosts for the event.
The track runs you through the 80 feet of elevation change about three and a half times…. The apex is blind in the majority of the corners and plenty of camber change.
Our road trip Crew consisted of seven folks from the DFW area in Texas and one friend from Kansas. Four were from the NVR-E-NUF Gang that run at MSR in Cresson Texas. We all had a blast…. Improved track times, passed a ton of local cars and all in all had a wonderful time….
And the facility at Barber is something everyone that is into DE’s/Club Racing should visit.
